  A friend has stopped driving. He has a 2004 S type Jaguar 3.0 manual. 54K miles and full service history. Independent servicing post warranty. Very good condition and looks good. Has not been driven for 6 months so he has now decided to sell it.

  Seems to me that a huge proportion of new cars have trim levels called something Line. Just off the top of my head I've seen S-Line, ST-Line, R-Line and N-Line. Why 'Line'?, what is is for?. When I think of the word line, the first thing that comes into my head is doing lines at school as a punishment. Second (and this is from TV and film rather than personal experience, honest!)

  So I read from the Gov.uk website that I  need an operators licence just to tow this trailer, not only that but need to upgrade my licence, that;s not so bad, but to have an operators licence you need an operators centre of operations!  No wonder so many drive inadequate luton vans! These vans only take 1 tonne max, they are rubbish.

  However, I have a neighbour who says a previous model was the worst car he ever had, and my dad has been quoting Auto Express articles that apparently ranked it (again in an older model guise) 44th for reliability and bottom for gearbo.   We really like the engines and reliability. The options for our rather niche requirements seem to be Toyota Verso or possibly a Ford S-Max. (I am not bothering to consider the Zafira.)  Otherwise it's only a Mitsubishi Grandis which is rather old, or indeed  an imported Honda, like an Odyssey (which drives very well.)  She wants something roomy but not enormous, ie. not a Previa/Estima or similar.

  Just had an issue with a used car purchase that made me think, bought a Tesla model S direct from Tesla, and it hadn't been wiped properly by the previous owner or by Tesla themselves. Had access to the previous owners email, home address, spotify account and access to the automatic garage door opener. along with a list of all his destinations since he purchased the car. even a list of his drs appointments on the in car calendar.

  Cleared what debris i could but have not yet removed pollen filter as its awkward to get at. Earlier A6's had problems with water under blocked drain plugs that were under the battery but that is not so with my audi as the battery is in the boot. I do not have a sun roof. Any suggestions where the water could be getting in would be much appreciated

  I have found a mazda 2 which is 8 year's old and on it's recent MOT  it mentions two advisories for : surface corrosion rear axle and slight damage n/s outer sill. The previous MOT before that had advisories for surface corrosion rear axle, rear springs. I'm not sure on how big or expensive of a problem this corrosion is, can you please advise ?

  The Astra has just clocked up 90k miles, and ideally I would like to get another 30k out of it before it gets scrapped. It´s a 1.8 16V on a V. CDX trim, all the bells and whistles, and we really like it. Plus if it keeps going for another few years it means we can afford to keep the beautiful Barchetta. With this in mind, I am changing the oil now every 3k, and the filter every 6k.

This company appears to buy repossessed cars and then sell them on. According to their website, the buyer reserves a vehicle online, then the car is delivered to their home address and is given 3 days to decide if they want to keep the vehicle, at which point payment is made.
