  • Saab 93 Vector - Advice needed 1 May 2015 (Forum)
I have a 2006 Saab 92 2.0 Vector and has been on my drive for the last 3 months with the front tires just about flat, i managed to pump them up but one of them has a flat spot, after driving it for about 10 miles the flat spot noise seems to have subsided, the only issue i have now is that when i apply the brake i get the same kind of noise as the flat spot (front left n/s brake)   Any ideas as to why it could be?
  • N/A - Parking in London near A12, possibly Gants Hill. 8 Apr 2015 (Forum)
We've been invited to a friends flat in Docklands to see the Marathon on 26th April and I've been looking at travel options from Ipswich. The train is fairly expensive and it would be cheaper to drive in and park as near as possible and use public transport for the last leg. Many years ago we used to park at Gants Hill but when I go on Streetview the area all looks a bit different and unfamiliar and I'm wondering if anyone in East Anglia can suggest the best drive ->park -> public transport options?
  • Peugeot expert van 1.9 D 70 - Engine management light 23 Jul 2014 (Forum)
Sometimes this only happens for a few seconds, other time it goes on for about a week and stops. After this the van drives fine for a month or more and then it happens again. I think it happens more often in wet weather if driving through deep puddles. It has been looked at by 3 garages and they have said MAF sensor, faulty wiring or high pressure diesel pump.
  • Broken Leg 24 Jun 2014 (Forum)
Do I need to tell my insurance company about breaking my leg, taking into account that I am  not going to drive until I am 100% back to normal. The Orthopaedic Consultant did say that I could drive short distances on quiet roads but this sounds too ambiguous for me and I am just going to wait until I'm completely clear.

  • Volvo S70/V70 (1996 - 2000) - 98 2.5 ABS Pedal judder. 30 May 2014 (Forum)
My V70 Cross Country All Wheel Drive is playing up, when driving a buzzing ABS noise comes from the pedal area without even touching it, if you brake lightly the ABS activates every time and makes the pedal vibrate and click as if ABS is needed, which it is not!

  • Hovercraft needed 2 Sep 2013 (Forum)
Hi, Can anyone suggest anything sensible thats got a "proper" automatic gearbox has a reasonably high seating position, not too big, cheap, and can deal with potholes, raised junctions, sleeping police men, speed cushions etc. as I am really not enjoying driving anymore, my current little "tide us over" Hyundai Getz ( my Touran recently died die to a blown turbo followed by gearbox failure) is like me getting shaken to bits, and doesn't know which is the best gear to be in, i'm thinking of driving in a bubble wrap suit.
