  Hi,  I have a 1 litre Nissan Micra K11 2001.  The problem that I have is the Engine Management Light has came on and the car is running very bad (severe lack of power). I took my car to the local mechanic and he plugged it into his diagnostic machine and it came up reading "Running Too Lean".

  We purchased SWMBO’s Nissan Note as a pre-reg in March 16 (a down size from a Touran). The car cost £10k and I think inflation will add at least £5k to a modern equivalent. (So looking to spend about £15k maximum). It’s now feeling a little old though only 20k miles, it’s time to change it whist it’s still worth about £5k.

  It has a pinhole which I can only gues is there to relieve excess pressure which is constantly leaking and firing a jet of water about 3-5 feet in the air when removed. I can guess that it may be seized inside and Nissan have quoted £800 to repair it. I can get a second hand spare for £70 but would prefer to repair it. Any help greatly appreciated

  Hi all, In anticipation of the new arrival of our 3rd baby I am looking to upgrade our 2010 Skoda Superb Combi to a 7-seater SUV. Budget is £25k flexible and the prime contenders seem to be a nearly-new Nissan X-Trail or a 2013/2014 XC90. I am looking for opinions on these and any choices that I might not be seeing. I am spiritually opposed to MPVs and keen on boot space, quiet driving, and enough grunt in the low end to move.

  I have a 04 Nissan Micra and have noticed that my right indicator quite often blinks faster than normal, this especially happens whilst using the brake at the same time. Also, when I am entering a motorway and building up speed the car starts to loose power when I switch on the right indicator on - it goes back to normal once I turn the indicator off.

  hi  my nissan  with the m9r engine. has smoke coming from the filler cap and dip stick what happened was the gear box went  a water hose  came off because it hadnt been put on properly  ,the van was run for abit with out water  new gear box in now not using water but smoking from filler cap runing fine  i dont seeit being the head gasket with no lose of water or signs of oil mixing a any sujestions wecome

  I got stuck at the Toll and when I left the M4 at J24 A449, stopped at the red lights and almost got taken out when I couldn't engage 1st gear, final got into 2nd. It happened 3 more times at Stop junctions. Anyone had similar problems with a Nissan qashqai?

  i have a nissan interstar , same as renault master van lwb, 2004 , 6 speed gear box, it was working fine and parked it up over night, the next day the clutch peddle goes to the floor... so it cant be driven, there is some oil leaking out, but not sure from where, i think it is possibly the slave cylinder, has anyone got any ideas, and how would i change it if it is ,,, why has this happened when not in use ?

  have a 1999 Nissan Terrano 2 2.7 turbo diesel with an unusual problem - lately I have had trouble starting it when its hot, sometimes it wont start at all - leave it 20 mins or so and eventually it will fire up. starts normally from cold in a morning and once started it runs perfectly. just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar or has any idea of what could be wrong.

  Does a 18K or two year service interval seem sensible on this vehicle - a 54 reg Nissan Primastar va (similar to Renault trafic and Vauxhall vivaro) with a DCi 100 engine in? One car that I had with a FSH from new actually suffered a cambel failure, because there was no requirement to change the cambelt layed out by the manufacturer, so I am a little suspicious of ANY manucacturer's service guidelines.
