  Whilst travelling up to Warrington from Surrey at the weekend, I noticed several cars (mostly BMWs) with very dirty rears, and unreadable numberplates. This is obviously a speed camera scam, but I was amazed that the police didn't stop any of them (the cars must have been in this state for some time) Are cameras able to pick-out the registration number when the plate is in this state, or do the police not care as it's just part of the numbers game?

  I want to make people aware of a scam site that has setup selling cars at knock down prices. The site is a scam. How do I know - simple, they are using my home address as the front to the site. The have previously setup as repo-limited.com and cars-sales-ltd.com There is other info on the repo-limited.com site available on the net (just google the domain name) and people were ripped off for thousands of pounds.

  Heard about this a few days ago and forgot to mention it - sorry if it's old hat or been deatl with already. Anyway, apparently there's a growing scam in certain parts of Europe which involves sending UK/foreign motorists what seems like official documentation demanding payment of fines for motoring offences which never took place. I'm not sure what claims or threats the 'documentation' makes but it's all convicing enough to lead some to aprt with their money apparently so beware.
