Volkswagen Golf 1.4tsi DSG - Economy Mode on Golf 9 Jun 2014 (Forum)
Just bought a new model Golf DSG - the 122bhp version. I have been trying to work out if there are any significant fuel savings between the 3 modes(economy, normal, sport) and also having the stop/start function enabled. I now now longer do the same regular journeys of a significant length for 'back to back' comparison purposes, but with the limited experiments I have tried there seems to be virtually no difference in fuel consumption between 'economy' and 'normal'. -

Jeep Grand Cherokee - LPG Availability 22 Apr 2013 (Forum)
If ASDA does carry out this action then it will involve further mileage searching for a garage that offers this fuel. I had my Jeep converted way back when the then Labour Gov were promising all kinds of benefits for this fuel... but like most politicians idea it was another lie. If only we had the same level of LPG availability that Europe has. -

Vauxhall corsa 1.2 - Cold starting problem 17 Apr 2012 (Forum)
Sometimes when the engine warms up and is still running, I can reconnect the MAF and the car will run fine (but only after the engine is up to running temperature). With the MAF disconnected its not a problem running but probably running with wrong air/fuel mix I guess. Tried 2 new bosh MAF's and same problem. Its as if the engine thinks its up to running temperature when its cold, so thinks it needs no choke when cold. Hope that makes sense. Any help please?
