Ford Fiesta - Distance to empty gauge 15 Apr 2014 (Forum)
We bought a 63 plate Fiesta at the end of last year. My wife drives it and she noticed that when the warning light/chime for low fuel came on at around 50 miles left, the miles she continued to drive did not match the mileage countdown figures on the dial. I thought it might be the way she drove the car. I drove it yesterday and the low fuel light and chime came on at 50 miles left. -

Vectra 2.0 DTI 16V Low Power 18 Mar 2014 (Forum)
The car has just passed the mot and when smoke tested it was well under the pass limit which makes me think the fuel pump is not delivering full fuel, is there any way to test these fly by wire pumps without selling my house and using a vauxhall dealer as it seems with these engines they have no idea what is wrong when the ecu light is not on.If anyone can shed some light on the problem please let me know as apart from low power the car is great. -

Ford Focus Mk 2 Petrol - Could this be an electrical problem? 18 Aug 2013 (Forum)
Hi On Wednesday I began to experience the following problems: - engine warning light on - external temperature guage not working (just showing as -- -- ) - cold weather warning light on (red) - rear windscreen wiper not working - front windscreen washers not working Yesterday I noticed a front bulb is also out.. unsure if it has been out since Wednesday. Fuel consumption seemed fine until a friend asked about it... now think it is going down quicker but maybe just mind playing tricks. Did a short 4.6 mile run across town with a short stretch uphill to 60mph and the fuel reader dropped by seven miles so not bad I think...? -
2003 Renault Laguna 1.9dci - Starting problem 4 Jul 2013 (Forum)
Yesterday I sprayed some easy start into the intake and it fired up straight away but died as soon as I stopped spraying which to me suggests it isn't getting fuel. I took off the return pipe from the injectors one by one and there is a fair amount of fuel pumping out when engine is cranked. I presume this is a fault in the injectors somewhere but is there any way of finding out which injector/s is faulty? -

Peugeot 306 - Peugeot 306 - No Spark 4 Sep 2012 (Forum)
The old ECU has been put back on the car. It turns over, I believe it to be getting fuel, but it doesn't smell flooded, you can hear the fuel pump when the ignition is switched on. I decided to check the coil pack, and didn't find a spark, so I bought another, still no spark. The crank sensor has been replaced so I'm assuming that it's fine. -

audi A6 idle juddering 20 Jun 2012 (Forum)
need advice on my A6 2.4 auto 1997 . about 2 months ago it had to taken to a audi dealer as it would not start after left unused for 2 weeks.not battery problem.the dealer said there was fuel flooding and changed all sparks and add fuel treatment. start ok since but had trouble with the engine juddering at idle espescially when climate control on and using the brakes. brought it back to dealer and they changed a faulty spark lead. some improvment but still not completely gone. third time they diagnosed a faulty valve timer and changed it at total of £370!!!
