Hi all,
I own a Honda Civic 2019 and need to replace the tyres. Looking for options that balance comfort, fuel efficiency, and reliability in wet conditions. Any recommendations for suitable brands or models would be really helpful.
Thanks!
What size are your car's existing tyres? As in (for example - it's marked on the sidewalls) 205/55 R16V.
Some brands or even specific models within them can vary quite a bit in how they perform, on price and availability, especially if the required tyre size is 'unusual', which means not much choice available and high prices.
If you (for some reason) cannot find this size information directly from your existing tyres, go to a well know tyre fitter website (BlackCircles should do the trick in this regard) and put in your car's registration plate and it'll come up with hopefully the correct tyre size.
Occasionally it may come up with two where your car's model has more than one OEM option for tyre selection when new, but obviously only one will work once the wheels have been chosen.
Websites like Tyre Reviews (www.tyrereviews.com) are useful to use as it amalgamates several others' group tyre tests (mostly for common sizes), performs their own tests and also has many reviews from car users for their own car's tyres, which helps you compare them for your specific car.
