The Lexus reputation for reliability is unrivalled, and a model I have always admired, but I understand they are not the most fuel efficient 2 litre by a long shot. I would just like to hear back from anybody in the B.R. with experience of this model amd their m.p.g. figures ?? -

Used diesels 1 Jun 2021 (Forum)
Had he stuck with a simple petrol version he would’ve spent a couple of hundred quid a year extra on fuel but saved a large four figure sum on repairs. Moral of the story, stick with petrol when buying a cheap used car. -

Honda CR-V 2.2 I-CDTI diesel - Main relay location 25 Jun 2020 (Forum)
Does anyone know where the main/PGM-FI relay location is on a 2009 Honda CR-V 2.2 CDTI (diesel). there should be one (main) relay in the under hood fuse box and another (fuel pump) in the cabin fuse box. But both fuse boxes do not have either relays. this is the cabin fuse box. It only has 1 relay for the power windows. The starter cut and fuel pump relays are missing... -
MG ZS 2017 - ! year on. Turned out quite nice..... 18 Nov 2019 (Forum)
Youngrovergirl likes the seats, Bags of room inside, space for the essential full size spare wheel. Used once...Fuel economy is entirely acceptable for our usage, seems to be a bit better with 11,000ish miles total on the car now. No further problems and the (very) minor niggles consigned to History. Car doing what i bought it for, and to join the debate in the other post, it does seem to be slightly better on economy on premium fuels, but the engine definitely runs better on premium 98. -

I have taken my car to another garage now who think the fuel pump may need replacing. Has anyone had a similar issue and does this diagnostic seem correct as I don't want to just change parts for the sake of it? Any help would be massively appreciated. -
Golf tdi 2009 1.6 - Injector problem 12 Jun 2017 (Forum)
My car has been with a garage then diesel specialist for 3 weeks now has had all four injectors replaced, egr valve checked, fuel pump checked, new fuel filter (just in case), pressure valve replaced on rail. It is running but 'lumpy' in idle. No fault codes are showing and car apparently thinks it is running ok. Mechanics cannot tell me what is wrong and seem to say it needs emission reprogramming even though it has run for 3 months and about 1000 miles since the emissions is recall without any issue. -

Hello, 1. can anyone advise on standard equipment or good aftermarket tyres for Disco 2 Diesel auto on a "Y" plate? 255/55 R18 2 The fuel pressure regulator is leaking badly, on the road the engine surges under acceleration, is this a symptom or is it the turbo, it just runs out of steam at 70 mph. 3. Auto box seems to want to change up the gears too early. -
