  Went out for short trip this evening, stopped car and left lights on max 5 mins, went to start car and it would not start so called out breakdown services. Tried car 30 mins latter and it restarted, would could of caused this? Car is used for short journeys as second car covering around 1600 miles per annum, maybe this could be a factor.

  My first time at this so here goes ...... Bought a brand new Renault Scenic from a local car supermarket at good discounted price. Uk spec vehicle which they claim came direct from Renault BUT.... when I ask about the 3 year Renault Assistance breakdown cover that comes with all new Scenics they are claiming this will only apply to cars bought from a main dealer.

  In his car by car breakdown HJ say of the above: "1.8 8-valve XU petrol is the worst engine and many were fitted with the wrong ECU chip leading to failed emissions tests. Autobox not recommended." Does anybody know why the autobox meets with his disfavour?
