  No performace issues, just sounded like someone was tapping an empty tin and a small hiss (no, there wasn't a freak in the boot..haha) Anyway, the sound has now gone (after 50 miles of driving) do you think it was something in the fuel working it's way through. There was a slight whine aswell which makes me think it maybe the fuel pump..Tank 3/4 fuel of V-power from a good garage. Penny for yer thoughts Cheers

  It is my first "proper" bike and I've enjoyed it, but I would like a bit more weather protection, a taller seat, softer suspension and a change in engine noise. Power (although it sounds like heresy) is not really relevant; I hardly ever use all of the Bandit's 80 bhp as it is, except when overtaking 2-up. My current favourite is the Suzuki 650 V-strom which seems to answer all my criteria; has anyone any experience of these bikes or would anyone care to suggest an alternative?

  any suggestions on the cause of a non start punto, its a v reg mk 2 1200 8 valve with 10k on clock, checked for belt snapped,ok we have fuel and lots of it, we have spark, checked all engine management fuses.
