  Does anyone know if these new tyres make any noticeable difference to fuel consumption or are they just a gimmick? I check my tyre regularly and they are usually pretty close to the recommended pressures.

  even though fuel is sold in Litres! Why not miles/L or like L/100 or km/L? In my car I see the option of either MPG or L/100 km but not km/L.

  I was thinking about having it converted to LPG. Anyone any idea how much an approved conversion to LPG would cost? Can it be dual fuel? Thanks

  Have changed plugs,leads,coil packs,fuel filter but still get intermitent hesitation on this car.Am thinking of changing throttle potentiometer,at 55gbp!! Possible air leak in manifold?? HELP

  I've heard that it is possible to run diesel engines on vegetable oil, but that additives are required. What are the additives? Does it affect the engine life? Is the fuel economy as good as it would be on diesel? This is for a Kubota lawn mower.

  Anyone see the diesel running on Vegetable oil on last nights TV show? It was great! The only modification required was to route the fuel line near some heat (provided by the cooling hoses) to thin the veggie oil a bit. Absolute genius.

  How important is it to keep the amount of petrol in the fuel tank at a reasonably high level, to avoid sludge getting into the system? I normally fill up after the warning light has come on. Is it generally ok to let it get that low?

  One of the annoying stuff you don't want and #3 it's has a warranty that I wouldn't get with a second hand 7 seater at the price I paid.   My question is what fuel to use. I've always used standard petrol and diesel fuel in run of them I'll family cars only using the super stuff in more spottier cars, but this being my first small turbo GDI engine car would it be beneficial to use the super petrol to help stop carbon build up on the valves etc.

  It would make it easier for new drivers to have it the other way round surely? I like to look after my cars and use the premium fuels. Whether they are worth it I am not sure. Anyway, when I used the premium diesels I understand they contain additives and when I lift the fuel cap it states no additives. A contradiction?
