In addition to the cars, visitors will also get the chance to learn about the latest technology through exhibits from companies showcasing developments related to safety, electric vehicles, fuel alternatives and even driverless cars. The displays will also highlight the role of the people who designed, built and used the products of the British motor industry. One example will be a selection of recipe cards for meals served in the 25 staff canteens at Longbridge in Birmingham.

Also offered is an original 1977 Mini Clubman that has covered 8703 miles. Originally sold on 14 October, 1977, the car was resold on 28 April, 1978, to a friend of the original owner. Garaged in 1985 when she stopped driving, the car was put away and never used again.
