“Many people do not realize that when you run a car or truck on gasoline of diesel fuel, you are actually running it on hydrogen. And all we are doing is using the hydrogen from water. And under the National Bureau of Standards figures shows that when you use water, the energy release is roughly two and a half times more powerful then that of gasoline. -

Ford Mondeo Estate - Large chain car audio/spare parts 17 Apr 2016 (Forum)
So I took it back. The unit was OK as it worked in the shop. The guys there said they may need to run a wire from something that comes on with the ingnition or run a line from unused fuse box! I didn't like the sound of that too much so gave the unit back. It was a very good deal for the stereo (£70) so I did some research on ford forum websites and it transpires you need a special (connects 2 Can Bus compliant lead). -

2007 ford ranger 3.0 diesel auto - Fird ranger Cuts out and will not rev by 2000 rpm 9 Jan 2016 (Forum)
Had this vehicle 5 years and it has always been sensitive to fuel filters. It will cut out but always restart immediately then run for another few miles before it happens again, this can also happen going around left hand sharp bends. It also only runs properly if the fuel filler cap is not tightened fully, always assumed the breather is blocked but not a major issue. -

Peugeot 207 - Engine warning light 28 Oct 2014 (Forum)
It's a 2012 Peugeot 207 (95) 1.4 petrol and last week the engine warning light came on even though the car was running normally. My wife averages 200 miles per week and does her twice weekly trip of 90 miles on a fast dual carriage in 90mins. We took the car to the main agent and after 2 hours of diagnostics the ECU fault codes were P1336 and P1340 but they didn't have a clue as to why, as the car was running perfectly. -

Mazda 2 - Mazda 2 1.4 Diesel - Cutting out when cold 8 Jun 2014 (Forum)
I have just bought a cheap late 2003 Mazda 2 1.4 diesel with 100,000 miles which I believe is based on the Fiesta 1.4 TDCi engine. I have an issue where I start the car first thing in the morning and it runs for about 2 seconds. It then cuts out and will not start. If I prime the fuel using the hand primer in the engine bay I can see air bubbles moving in the clear fuel line. It will then start and run fine. -
