A neighbour of mine has a Pajero import from Japan. he was telling me today that it has two 12 volt batteries under the bonnet but dosn't understand why. He has had the Shogun before but this only had the one battery. Anyone tell me why!! -

Prepared to spend as much as £10k, if depreciation plus servicing costs do not exceed £1k a year. Looks are not that important to me, but my wife is keen on good looking cars (marital harmony is important!). I am in my mid thirties and wife is in her late twenties, no kids ? yet.. decoding Kia VIN 10 Apr 2003 (Forum)
After 8 weeks of dispute between my new car supplier and Kia regarding the origin of my car I'm getting desperate. One swears it's a fully warranted European model imported last year, the other insists its a grey import with no warranty. Having browsed many internet sites I have found a lot of examples of VIN numbers matched with cars for sale and I think I've found how to decode most of the number. -

THE MG6 won acclaim for it's handling ousting last year's winner the Porche Caveman. It's ride was highly rated too. In the all important reliability category it came 96th. I belive this was out of 150 cars. -

A friend's son wants to run an imported (from Germany) VW Kombi, keeping it in the Feuerwehr livery including two blue beacons on the roof. My guess is it'll be no problem so long as he does not use the blue lights on the road. Is there clear case/statute law on this? -

With the headlights in the bonnet, if you open the bonnet do they still work ie do they point to the sky? Its obviously important to him to find out, don't shoot the messenger! Any takers?
