  I have had to have a new catalytic convertor fitted to my Citroen Saxo since its replacement it sounds really rough especially when you start up, reverse and over rough surfaces the garage says that the cat has to be coated with soot ie driven for a while to quieten it does this make sense?

  Hi folks, I'm trying to replace display bulbs, can anyone tell me how the loom plugs are secured in the sockets on the back of the DISPLAY PANEL of the Citroen Picasso, (BLUE & BLACK PLUGS) have tried just pulling them out, wont budge, are they held by any clips? Cheers Dave O

  Hi, need help desperately, my 03 Citroen Picasso exclusive has a problem with the light/indicator stalk, when operating the indicators the lights come on, I am thinking the unit is at fault. How would I go about replacing this unit? Any advice would be much appreciated.

  I would welcome thoughts on this engine. My wifes car is a 1993 Citroen ZX n/a 1.9 on 234k......it still returns 55/65 mpg with regular oil changes......when is this going to break down? Thoughts please! It will probably break down as soon as I fix some poor "spelling", Rob

  I have a Citroen Picasso that likes to go into 'get home safe mode' showing an engine fault message. The car only occassionally gets to drive over 35miles an hour but when it does - the engine fault appears. I am now told I probably need a new turbo ......which is going to be expensive.

  I have a Citroen C5 (8000 Miles) Engine has only just developed an overidding Engine tapping noise ONLY after warm up, say 2 miles.Predominant on accelerating under load at low speed. Noise is lost when at speed.

  Hi everyone. I'd like to bleed the brakes on my L reg Citroen zx TD. This'll sound really silly I expect, but I can't find the bleed screws despite looking at the calliper & reading my Haynes manual. Can anyone tell me where they are (front - discs & rear - drums) or send a picture?

  Hi I have a Sept 2001 Citroen Xsara 2.0 Hdi. Is this model OBD or EOBD compliant. I have ordered a code reader, only £25, but am now wondering if I've done the right thing. I can only find mention of petrol models before 2004 and mine being a deisel not sure now.

  Hi all. I have this slight problem with my Citroen AX 1.5 diesel. When it is idling at normal operating temperature, it feels like it is idling too slow, i.e. it shakes the car to pieces. Then sometimes all of a sudden there is a slight click comes from the engine somewhere and it will start idling at the correct speed.

  Hello all. Just wondered if anybody could help. I've got a Citroen saxo 1.1i desire, and there is a whistling noise which seems to be coming from the front wheel area. Its not a constant noise, but when it happens it lasts a while. It seems to be when i slow down but also at random intervals.

  I have recently attempted to purchase a service manual for my Citroen Xantia 1.8si estate Vreg 2000?, and have been told that the Haynes manual only goes up to 1998 S reg. Does anyone know whether this manual will cover the engine/mechanics/suspension etc. for my car, or were there any modifications to the car after 1998 which mean the manual would not cover my car spec.

  Do worn drop links make noises when riding over the down bit of a speed hump? Citroen C5 16k miles. Could a noise be different if only one wheel was on the hump? When I drive over a speed hump with both wheels, I get a knocking noise at faster speed hump speeds, if I can make one wheel miss the hump, it is silent.

  Quick question. I recently bought a 1997 Citroen Saxo VTR 1.6 with 84000 miles on the clock. Last week i filled up with Shell Helix oil, and 800 miles later, the oil level warning light is on and it need filling up again. Any ideas, as there\'s no oil on the floor under the engine.
