  Hi can any one help I have a 307 that the battery went flat, new battery fitted and have no throttle plus the anti pollution code is showing on the dash. I have checked all injectors all working but seems to be over fueling to me. If I unplug the mass sensor I have revs but takes ages to build up ! Can someone help thanks scott

  After stupidly running out of diesel I can no longer start my Berlingo. I have bled the system and there is fuel present at the pump but I still cannot get it to fire. The engine turns but it's as dead as a dodo. Is there something that needs to be reset? Any help to point me in the right direction would be most apreciated.

  Hi, car drives normally most of the time, sometimes just cuts out at any speed, as if out of diesel, or stalls at traffic lights, starts straight back up no problems, changed fuel filer, no change, plugged into code reader, code u2196 come s up. Can anyone shed any light on what this problem could be, many thanks

  My vivaro will start and after 5ish seconds will shut down itself im not sure what the problem can be its only got 70,000 Miles on the clock and i can not really afford heavy bills. Any ideas? Could it be immobilised or fuel pump?etc????? header, and username volume lowered

  Hi i am wondering if anyone can help me my car peugeot 106 1.1 independence cut out whilst i was driving i have a full tank of fuel butsays i have none there has been no leaks the car just makes a clicking noise when turning the key it wont start now the electrics in the car dont seem to e working properly any help is much appreciated.

  Hi all recently my vectra has been jolting when trying to accelerate up to 4th gear. I have been putting this down to being low on fuel. This doesnt happen all the time. When on the motorway all is fine. Is there a problem that i do not know. Please help Chris

   Long day (getting up at 0130 UK time) and getting to bed at 22.30.   Went to get fuel just now and put 62l of unleaded into the S-Max which has the TDCi engine.  Drove 0.5 mile and engine cut out.  I knew as soon as it happened what I had done. RAC coming to the rescue at a cost of £199.

  Our family car has died - fuel pump on a 51 plate Volvo V40. It's not worth the repair bill.  Consequently we're looking to buy a used car as a replacement and would appreciate everyone's opinions and suggestions.  Our criteia is * a large family car (estate probably but not essential)  * low running costs * good mpg  * average mileage for age  Recommendations gratefully received.

  I viewed a C Max a while ago, I'm unsure of the exact specifications but it was a 2011, turbo diesel, 6 gears, good space in luggage/dog area :) pretty good on fuel and road tax was £30. Ice been trying to find a similar one on the internet but in black. The one I viewed had already been sold, it was priced at £10.600. Mileage was around 12.000. Good price?

  hi i having problems with me renault clio 1.4 16v it miss firing and as i' am in motion the car will cut off and after a few times trying to start it then it will start but the miss fireing will still be there not much power as well..i have done a service changed oil,oil filter, fuel filter, plugs, air filter please could you help.

  hi my ford focus jerks every now and then ,replaced egr valve yesterday and it jerked last night ,alsso have fuel filter changed ,checked sensor on pedals and told they were ok ,air  con light comes on itself  dont kno if this is all connected to the one problem but id be very grateful if anyone could help me

  i have a focus and it feels like there is water in the fuel .  as i drive it it suddenly has no power and then it will pick up with a sudden lurch and black smoke blows out when you crews it feels like it is missfireing it has had a new egr and top end as the cam belt broke that was 9 months ago. does any one know whats wrong .

  My main worry with the diesel is the usual dpf, dmf and injector problems. I do about 40k a year and get paid 20p a mile fuel plus a monthly payment. I can't afford the new CR diesel and so it would be a PD if I bought one. Any advice would be appreciated.

  hi got a 03 renault laguna 1.9 dci and was running ok when it suddenly went in to limp mode and  fuel injection fault warning came on , put on code reader and just came up with glow plug fault and that was all , unpluged sensor on drvers side strut top that has two pipes to it and it ran bit better but not perfect has any body got any ideas plz

  can anyone help i have changed the turbo as it was leaking oil the power loss was there before hand. i have changed fuel filter and i have check the engine timing all is good there are no fault codes and it ticks over fine just no power at a loose end hope someone can help oh and there are no turbo pressure leaks.

  On returning car will not start. Diagnostic check revealed code P0560 System Voltage Low Input C-04. Fuel pump not working but was replaced by a new one. Still the same problem and code showing. Can anyone explain the the proceedure for checking this fault. Is a battery fault, earth fault or ecu fault?
