  Have noticed that with the dash readout showing an outside temperature of 25c.the air con,(not full climate control) still copes well in suppling cold air,but the front windows mist up after a while to the extent that I had to open them to see out and to check the mirrors.I find this strange as the air con is great in clearing the insides of the windows at other times,any answers please?.

  The local Volvo dealer has offered a free Air con inspection on my 08 V50 and suggested there might be an inherent fault.  The Air con is in fact not working and I had thought to go more locally to have it repressurised.  This seems to suggest that Volvo might be offering some financial assitance - anyone experience this?

  recently i took my SEAT TOLEDO 97 2.0 litre to an independent dealer to have the air con re-gassed, it was working but just not getting cold enough. I was quoted £70 for gas and system check which seemed fair enough. After a 2 hour wait a mobile air con guy turned up and re-gassed the system he then checked it over and told me that the condenser was leaking and offered me a replacement part for £317 although it was not an original SEAT part and told me that if i agreed straight away he could fit it next week.

  When I switch the air con on I can hear a fan runnng, can hear it a bit in the car but its a lot louder outside the car, its coming from the front of the engine near the front grill. I am assuming this is the fan in front of the radiator.
