  • Ford Galaxy - Diesel or Petrol? 19 Oct 2010 (Forum)
Hi, I want to purchase a 2007 Ford Galaxy and I'm not sure which engine to go for. Which is more economical, the petrol or the diesel? Diesel fuel seems to be priced a fair whack higher than petrol these days, does that offset the better fuel efficiency? I'm not sure whether to go for the 2.0 TDCi diesel or the 2.0 petrol version. Any advice/comments?
  • Renault Master 2.2 dci - van wont start 11 Aug 2010 (Forum)
The van wont start I have checked and the fuel is comming through, The other thing I did notice and I am not sure if it is correcect or not is that when the ignition is turned on the glow worm light comes on then goes off then comes on again. could this be the reason why the van wont start is because there is a fault with the fuel heater.

  • Petrol or Diesel 7 Sep 2005 (Forum)
Ok this one's too late for me, as I've just bought a petrol 1.8 Focus CMAX, but was wondering what other folk thought ? The diesel was about £1000 more, on fuel economy this would pay back at around 40,000 miles by my reckoning. However is it still true that the diesels can be harder to start and need much more frequent oil changes ? What are the other advantages / disadvantages of the two fuels ?

  • Jaguar - MOT - Question 25 Jan 2021 (Forum)
Hello, my car has developed 2 faults, I cannot seem to find if a couple of faults I have are failures for a MOT, so I wondered if anyone could help with the answer, please. 1. The fuel is not low, but strangely enough I found when I have shopping in the boot, the low fuel level message doesn’t come on at all, as soon as the boot is empty, it comes back on!
