  Hello I'm a newby to forums but I was wondering if you can help. I replaced my wifes battery on her fiesta but didn't realise til after that I would need a code for the radio and it isn't in the owners manual. I have managed to dismantle the dash and found the serial number on the radio.

  I had a very flat battery on my car and have no code.  Acording to the front of my radio it is a 4500 rds EON.  when i turn it on the screen reads A56606 and the reg no.  any ideas on an unlock code.  I have an hour long drive and its driving me mad not havng a radio for the last 4 months.

  Hi all, I've recently had some work done on my fiesta and the garage had to disconnect the battery. The number written in the book doesn't work so the radio may have been changed prior to my ownership. The serial number is: M532644. If anyone could help out I'd be very grateful.   It just dies and when we pull over till the rain passes thru it starts again. Where is the rain getting in? Could it be the battery or perhaps the ht leads getting wet?

  Can any one help me with a key code for my Radio. Changed my battery and , yes , cant find the radio booklet key code anywhere. I believe I can request this from numerous organizations that have access to these key code data-bases , but must everything carry a cost.

  Has anyone tried it for one bike, on the assumption the manufacturers are covering themselves against anyone hanging three on the back ? I would go for a towbar mounted carrier except my latest Jazz is a Hybrid with a battery in the boot and towbars banned, presumably because of fixing problems.

  HELP! My battery went flat after my 'mate' left the interior lights on overnight and now I can't operate the radio. It's a Ford 3000 Traffic and the serial number is M180308, but as the car is so old I don't even have the original owners manual and the back of the radio doesn't have the code scrawled anywhere.

  Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me.  The battery on my car died and now the stereo doesn't work; it is requesting a code.   To remover battery pull out the ECU it comes out easily do not ground themetal plate. Then push the lever down on the right hand side and rock the batterry over to the left to disengage from catch then rock over to the right and pull free of catch on left and lift out.

  I'm wanting to clear the "learned" values (apparently it's a self-learning ECU?). I've read online that disconnecting the battery does nothing as the values are hard-stored - anyone know if this is true or not? Thanks in advance!

  Hi When I turn on my heated front windscreen I get an Engine System Error come up.  The battery then sounds flat although it isn't and I can't start the car.  The garage can't identify the fault as it doesn't do it when they have the car.  Anyone know what is causing it?

  I have recently used my car in the snow, after spining and slipping home then the ESP, Brake fluid & ABS light have come on and remain on, I thought disconecting the battery may reset the fault as I have not hit anything but the lights remain on, any ideas to resolve and what costs may be incurred.   I've changed all air flow sensors, EGR valve, timing belt, alternator, fuel filter, air filter, turbo unit and battery. Now!!! If I leave it for a while, it will start and tick over, as soon as I press the accelerator pedal it cuts out. What is wrong with my van?

  Hi, 2003 Mercedes 320E shows up "Malfunction at consumer unit" in display panel in front of steering wheel. Both batteries, engine and boot, have been replaced but this error still shows up randomly. In frosty weather when this error shows up the car wont start without jump leads. All other times it drives as normal any ideas?

  The heater blower motor is not working on this vehicle with ign on getting battery voltage at red wire at blower motor with engine idling voltage at blower motor falls to zero volts. This vehicle has A/C. Does anyone know of issues with this particular problem. Any feed back greatly accepted best Reguards Mickeybo
