  Hi, I recently had to change my car battery and in doing so my radio cassette player has stopped working. I believe I need to enter a code to get it to work again which I do not have.  Can anyone please help? The radio is 5000c and the serial number is M011197.

  Everytime I activate the central locking via the Key fob, the central locking locks all doors but the indicator on the passenger side remains on and will not go out, even when I unlock the car via the fob the light remains on which is now draining the battery flat as it won't go out, any suggestions ?

  From the Ampera review here: "Practicality is more or less unaffected by the electric drivetrain components." I'd have said that only having two seats in the back due to its having the battery mounted down the middle is a massive negative effect on practicality. Certainly it's off my list of "things I might consider" for that very reason.

  Then I think of driving through the Blackwall Tunnel, London, every day, in the winter, it can take an hour. Does the system turn the headlights down? Because I can't see how the battery can survive in the real world.

  Hi, I'munable to lock / unlock my car remotely after a few minutes from when the ignition has been switched off.  I've changed the battery in the keyfob but this hasn't made a difference!  It's not a big problem as i can lock/unlock it manually.  Any suggestions??

  I have jusy changed the cooling thermostat (not easy had to remove the battery) and now the engine temp gauge stays unrecording though the heater gets hot. It did work ok before! Where is this sensor and how do I reach it?

  My head lights and rear lights will not turn off, I found that drain at the top of the engine bay was blocked. The only way i turn them off is by disconnecting the battery. Anyone ever had this problem?? Please advise {Edited - as per the 1st reply to your question}

  having had a dead battery replaced the car is very noisy and has a distinct lack of power, it is also smoking heavily when trying to accelerate. local garage has replaced crankshaft sensor but problem still exists. can anybody help with a possible solution.

  Oval analogue style clock on mine keeps losing time, only 5-10 mins a day, any adjusting screws behind it or is this something more sinister like an advance warning of a weak battery? No other electrical niggles.

  Hi, one of the keys buttons for my 03 zafira is not functioning properly. I changed the batteries but still when I press on the button to open or close it won't work straight away, some times I have to press on it five or six times before it will work.
