It seemed totally desirable in every way - one of the last real British Bentleys, and the bodywork was far more perfect than you would ever expect from a 1991 car.

  I have checked the value of similar cars on Autotrader and was surprised to find 2003 models with 130k fetching £3500 average. Is this the settlement I am like to receive or will it be taken from Glass s guide. Grateful for your guidance on how to proceed.

  I have had breakdown rescue me twice, 1 said I flooded the engine, the next said my immobiliser is draining my battery... My car says bulb ku blu when turning the key and starts straight away when attached to my man' s car with jump leads... DEFO NOT BATTERY OR ALTERNATOR AS HAD THESE CHECKED ALREADY... Am stuck now as to what it can be and really need some advice please

  I've calculated that it's doing 35 mpg and it feels like it should do more. I also have a 2007 2.0 Zetec Diesel S-Max and that does 45 mpg and it's a much bigger car. The fiesta is not thrashed and has a mix of dual carriageway and town driving typically, and probably 5% of the miles are motorway. The A/C is on more often than not.

  Ok so I have a baby on the way and I need a new boiler. I'm planning on selling my 09 fiesta ztec s and I'm looking to spend about £3000 on a new car.  I'm wondering what would be a good idea for a new car? I'm thinking 5 door hatch back. My mate keeps saying get a mk4 golf 1.9tdi but I'm worried that for £3000 I will get an unreliable one.

  I experienced a loss of power while some way from home, the car would not rev above 3000 making over-taking impossible.  After I stopped for 10 minutes the problem disappeared and hasn't recurred for 6 month,s until this morning.  Same thing again, after the car was stopped for a few minutes, the problem disappeared.  A local garage mentioned this as a VW problem concerning the turbo-charger.  Has anyone else experienced this?

  The risk of a catastrophic failure when they are eventually used must be high, especially as they are not of the most robust construction and are inflated to 60psi, however I have read of no such failure(s). Maybe they are better than they look, or perhaps being stored in the dark extends their life to say 10-15 years? Seems unlikely to me.

  Just recentlly purshased a 2004 Manuel Passat, and I have issues with the Central Locking, I have to hold the key very close to the drivers doors to actevite the systerm and only the driver doors works, I have to use the boot button inside the drivers door to activet, also if I use the door button inside the drivers door the rear N/S door works non of the others, can some one help please?

  The vauxhall garage tells her a pin and cap need replacing in the gearbox. However they say they cannot get the parts and she needs a new gearbox.!! s this true and is there another way to sort this out please. She has not got £500 plus pounds. Thanks, Kind Regards, Charles P.

    I never realised what a difference a good battery can make ;my wifes XKR is now a different car with a Varta battery from Tanya and the replacement for my Audi is superb. Both were around the same price as H******S even with the delivery charge, prompt delivery and a very easy website   Full marks to www.Tanya.co.uk

  Ive got a mk4 Gt TDi 130 ( PD ) which has always run well, nothing major...apart from the airbag light being on ( o/s seat - cable cut) Went for a run last night, only to see the glow plug light flashing, and "engine workshop" displayed on the info panel.......... any idea's - or common causes...... TIA

  Hi, I've just bought a 2006 Mondeo TDCi 130 and I'm interested to know which is the best Engine Diagnostic Reader to buy ?  I asked an eBay seller about the F-Super but s/he said that it wouldn't clear the service required indicator.  That is obviously a key facility so can anyone tell me which is the best EDR to buy for my car ? • Smart Roadster Coupe - Smart Roadster front spring replacement 3 Apr 2012 (Forum)
  Understand that these can be a pain due to seized bolts....?Haven`t had the wheels off yet to have a gander,so can anyone tell me if it`s possible to do a quick change...ie just remove top nut,cut spring with slitting disc,pull out leg far enough to get new(compressed) spring in place?Anything else to look out for or that may require replacing for a spring job?

  Hi I am looking for a new (bigger) car and a s a new driver I have been looking at a focus estate 1.6 lx 2001 as the insurance group is low and within reach. ONly concern I have is the mileage at just over 130k but it does have full service history (with approved ford dealer) would this put you off as it ticks all boxes and drives lovely?

  Hello, Sorry to bother everyone again but after seeking advice i think an s type isnt a good buy However Ive seen an xj6 x300 on 1997 plate 70000 on the clock. hear the x 300 r good cars engine and they look great. Ill be doing any repairs myself. Am i wasting my time its going to be used most days a few miles here and there. bit of a sunday car .

  Guys,     I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm desperately trying to get hold of a tocket for the Sunday of the Goodwood Revival this weekend - I have my 1970's vintage outfit and a gorgeous Ford Mexico ready to go but the event sold out before I had a chance to sort out a ticket.     Please let me know if you have any tips on getting hold of one at this late stage!

  Hi I have just bought a Nov 06 Avensis T3-S 2.0 Diesel. Presumably the Sat Nav users the middle display, it has the buttons down the side but I cannot work out how to use it. Any advice please. The hand book only refers to the posh one. Also is it possible to upgrade the sat nav please.
