  would this be about the right mileage to look at diesels? the cars i'm thinking of are the new accord (perhaps 2-3 years old) 2.2cdti exec, 3 series(old shape perhaps 3-4 years) sport/se spec and the a4 2.0 tdi with a SE spec. am not sure which of these choices seems the best option.

  Been to a couple of auctions lately which have included Motability cars. Some of these are three years old but others are as young as 3 months. Is it safe to assume that all Motability cars would be serviced as per manufacturers guidelines so therefore any remainder of the 3 year warranty would still be applicable?

  i have a 13 plate mondeo 24 month old. that has bad corroded alloys. i had the wheels taken off the car and cleaned inside so we coulde see the extent of the corrosion. what a shock we got  .the wheel are corroding from the inside to the outside so i reckon in another 12 month they will be seriously dammaged. the car is only 24 month old and the corrosion isnt coming from damage.

  I have recently changed by 2010 BMW 320i Touring for a new 2013 model - same spec. I have a set of BMW supplied alloys and winter tyres for old car but can't use them on the new vehicle because the tyre size has changed from 225/45 R17 on the 2010 model to 225/50 R17 on the 2013 car. Given the width of the tyre is the same and the diameter of the alloy wheels also appers to be identical when I measure it, can I fit new 225/50 tyres to my old alloys or do I need to invest in a new set of both wheels and alloys?
