  Does anyone know the likely cause of an intermittent fault with this vehicles immobiliser system?? I tohught it was a battery fault so fitted a new one. Could the transponder in the key be a cause??

  Headlights and cabin light do not turn on. Seems to be no power at all. Central locking not working with remote key fob. Car battery is 18 months old, reading 12.56 volts. Disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery console lights up and shows *all* warning lights on, and sets the clock at 12:00. Warning lights disappear after starting up, car drives OK.

  Hi everyone I've owned this car since 2000, except for a few blips I've had a good run and it's been very reliable. Recently I had to leave it with a local garage and the battery drained so they had to jump start it. OK no no problem but now I've found that the alarm has it's gone off and the battery has drained too. So I'm presuming its the alarm which is draining so I've needed to lock it with the deadlocks.Sometime in the past I'm sure I needed to reset it and there was a button/switch in one of the rear''s back section.

  Hi I have a Peugeot 3008 2011 1.6 HDI SPORT I have had a problem with the air bag light coming on and off sometimes could drive for 30 minutes and it comes on or it could be when the heaters are on full. I have changed my car battery has the old one was very low on voltage and thought this was the problem I have had the error read and it comes up with Level 1 driver airbag fault high stop distance ? can anyone please tell me what this is and also has I have put a new car battery on does the error just need removing now or could it be something eles I also have a 5 week old grandson in the car

  The mechanic noticed that the rocker cover gasket was leaking oil and the oil could be leaking onto the plugs & that could be the reason why as it wasn't giving enough spark , and the battery was tested and found to be weak. I changed the gasket , spark plugs & battery.  I started the car it started first time. Strated the car this morning and the problem returned. It's like a initial strong surge then cuts out and it takes about 30 sec for it to catch.

  The engine warning light on the dashboard goes out a couple of seconds after the engine has started. This may not be relevant, but the very old battery was recently changed due to an interesting day when I had "electrical fault" warning on the display followed by ABS warning light, dim headlights and eventually power steering failure. There's been no issues since replacing the battery.

  Suddenly when you opened the doors the wing mirrors started opening and closing which they have never done since I had it. next time I got in it it wouldntt start, its very sluggish battery and wont fire.
