  My 2001 Nissan QX 3.0 is not blowing cold air through the air con system, maybe time for a service, is anybody able to recommend an aircon specialist around the Surbiton or Esher, Surrey area? Thanks in anticipation.

  I bought a 2000 306 last month and today a strange crackling noise started coming from the air con vent at the passenger's side corner. It's only noticeable when the car is moving, from about 10 mph or so. If I put the air con on when the car is stationary, the crackling noise disappears, but if I listen closely to the same vent it does sound a bit less smooth than the others, almost like it's struggling.

  Can anyone help??????????? My wifes Ford Puma Air Con will not work at all, nor will the cold air.  However, it will produce warm air all the time, even with the dial on cold or switched to AC it still comes out warm. Has anyone else had something similar and how did it get rectified could it be a  theromostat problem?????

  Hi, I have a 2014 Corsa which I recently had regassed after the air con stopped working. After this the air con was amazing for about a week... and now it's just blowing warm, sometimes a bit cool but not what I'd expect from air con. I asked if there were any leaks when I had it regassed as it's still under warranty until September and they said it's fine just needed the regas.

  hi all i have had my vectra air con regassed three times with the green dye also put in.it has took nearly four months to find the leak but finally shown up.i dont know much about air con systems so to describe it. its on one of the two valves with wires on them on a single metal pipe behind the rad running at the bottom.what are they?

  Tonight driving home,all of a sudden I felt chilly., When I looked down to mess with the Air Con I couldn't see the buttons as the blue background light was inoperative. The air con blower wasn't working either. When I got home I found out that there are two thirty amp fuses which I swapped around and lo and behold the air con kicked in.

  Hi My car on tick over every now and then starts to make a horrible noise which seems to be on the drive belt, its like a dry bearing, but its not happening all of the time !. Power Steering Pump, Alternator, Air Con compresor, my gut feeling its the Air Con, because the noise gets quite loud and then something kicks in and it stops!. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

  Car is P reg Calibra 2.5 at 81.000 miles. Does anyone know of any problems or faults with the air con system on this car, which would cause the unit to freeze up to a point where ice cristals come out of the vents into the car. Has anyone seen this before please ? Air con specialist and Vaux main dealer have both checked over and recharged the system but have no answer to this.

  Thank you for all the replies to my previous question. A final thought, if you need to run your air con all the time to keep it working properly and avoid expensive repairs, why do manufactures provide you with the facility to switch it off?
