  I'm looking to buy a new used car approx 3 years old.  Am currently looking at a Skoda Karoq, BMW 2 Active Tourer, Audi A3 and Toyota C-HR.  Does anyone have any opinions on any of these please?  Things that are important to me are safety and reliability.  Heated seats and windscreen and reversing cameras are nice to have and  preferably an automatic.

  My A1 is due for an MOT in June. It has only done 6000 miles. It received its first years service at the Audi Agents and its second year service at Halfords. Now a third year service and an MOT but where ? Is it worth going back for a possible upgrade at the Agents at considerable cost !! or simply using a local garage - its 'aircon' also seems a bit 'low' ?

  question related to charging rather than specific to the audi e-tron. If I only do around 300 miles a month and I had a fully electric car with a range of around 300 miles, would I expect 1-2 charges a month, or if I just do very low mileage over 1-2 weeks would the charge sill last a month ?

  Wife's friend has a dilemma. A tile fell from her roof landing on a neighbours Audi, did damage to the roof of the car and continued it's descent making a mess of a door. The neighbour dosen't want to involve the insurance for fear of more expensive premiums etc. She thinks this be an act of God so legally she is not liable but even so the moral aspect is there.

  hi all my audi developed a problem after changing fuel filter i noticed that diesel is leaking through return valve , the engine is quite dirty on this side so it must start a while ago , i changed the filter and valve, checked if hosses are no blocked, fuel seems to gather pressure in the filter , would it be fuel pressure regulator ?

  Hi wonderif anyone else has had issues with DPF (sensor showing electrical malfunction) (Audi A4 - 2008) The light came on and warranty refused to cover it,i argued it wasnt a part of the DPF but simply a sensor which i feel is part of the Engine management system to flag up issues, the DPF was fine it was the sensor that was at fault.

  Hi - does anyone on this forum have any first hand experience of the Audi A6 standard fit sat Nav system (not the upgraded system). The reason I ask is that I have experience of the Mercedes Comand system and the BMW business and professional navigation systems and both are excellent at redirecting when the traffic is problematic and I want to understand if anyone has experience of the A6 system and in particular the traffic management system.

  Hi there i have had this problem with my audi for 4 weeks now it boosts up to 2000 revs and then just gos into a sort of limp mode it is reving but really go,s slow i have to stop the car and turn it off restart and all is good i have had it on a diagnostic machine and it is saying it is over boosting i have change the EGR valve but it is still happening can any body help ???

  Can anyone advise whether there is a problem mixing tyre treads front and rear. My wife's A3 has Dunlop Sport tyres on the front axle marked AO (Audi Only). The rear tyres now need replacing and we have been offered Dunlop Sport Max. The dimensions, speed rating and loadings are the same, the only difference is the tread pattern. Also, should the tyres be rotated front to back?

  Took a 2008 Audi A4 1.9 Tdi for a test drive. No smoke apparent at start up but about 2 mins into the drive when we stopped at a set of lights we noticed a lot of white/grey smoke coming from exhaust. As we contined the test drivev(approx 30 mins) there was no further smoke.

  hi everyone. just fitted a hid xenon headlamp conversion kit to my 52 reg audi a4 now when i first start my car then put my lights on, the esp, abs and brake waning lights come on but if i turn the engine back off then back on then my lights on again its fine i fitted the canbus cancellers to the lights but that made no difference. anyone had the same problems?

  My car battery went flat and all the sudden the mileage meter shows 651,351 miles which suppose to be showing 106,000 miles( i have a record proving this mileage 3 month back). Its an A6 Audi 1.8T car. The battery worked fine after been recharged but now the mileage have increased. Any advice would be great.

  I have an Audi 100 1993 2.0 petrol with a lazy water temp gauge. Takes a long time to start reading and then only reads up to 50c when engine at normal temp. Can anyone tell me how to check sender unit or gauge in order to find out if faulty or likely cause of fault.

  Need to change the fuel filter on my Audi 80 TDI but I can't get hold of a manual. Its a screw in type located in a metal holder and it appears that a clamp bolt needs loosening before the filter can be removed. Grateful to know the procedure and whether there is a bleed device on the top of the filter holder.

  I've recently bought an Audi 80 TDI and I am noticing a clutch judder on take up in first gear. This mainly happens first thing in the morning and once the clutch has been used a few times it settles down, although the take up is very sharp, with no comfort zone.

  All, Just got back my trusty Audi 80 back after a accident repair, they lent me a NEW Shape Corsa 1.2 Club. First impressions were is that Ive never liked hatchbacks, but this changed my mind. Handling spot on even on damp roads, Audi always understeers Quicker than my 2.0 115bhp Audi, despite only have a 1.2 80bhp engine.
