Car Park failing to stop/report dangerous driving 18 Oct 2013 (Forum)
Hi wondering if anyone can give me some advice, my car is registered to me fully comp insured for me and i have my son as a named driver as if i am not using the car i let him take it to work ~(he has full licence) this 'incident' occured on a sunday i was at home my son used the car to go to work, on way back he went to supermarket car park got some milk and came out, nothing strange in that well 4 days later i received a nip for failing to stop/report, dangerous driving, driving without due care attention ....at the car park ! my car is not damaged that i can see, i have been over it like a fine tooth combe i bought it as a four year old car so would have had tiny key scratches etc this was back in june, i filled out the form to say my son was driving, he also replied by email to the station saying i drove the car i was in the car park but not quite at the time they had put, he said he wasnt aware of making contact with any vehicle or anything else for that matter , and as for dangerous driving he said it is a car park with people walking around queuing to get out i couldnt drive dangerously. -
Peugeot 207 (2006 - ) - 207 Diesel - a 7 day hire experience 19 May 2009 (Forum)
Driving at night the lights were impressively good (cf my 2 yr old Picasso with uprated bulbs), probably benefitting from the separate dipped and main beam reflectors/bulbs. The cabin and boot were usefully large for a smallish car, and certainly I found the driving position comfortable and secure. -

Heya, strange question but any help appreciated. Im trying to find out how much the New Photocard driving license cost when it was introduced in 1998/99. Nobody seems to know including the DVLA. So imagine you had a paper provisional, then you passed your test in 1999, and applied for your full driving license with the new photocard, what was the fee? -

Self charging hybrids? 8 Jan 2023 (Forum)
My limited knowledge of the technology suggests that a self charging hybrid doesn’t really suit my driving style. Once the EV battery has been exhausted of charge surely I wouldn’t be driving enough using the petrol engine alone to recharge it? -

Hi, Last week thursday the check engine light came on. i booked it in for a diagnostic at the mini dealer. The car seemed to have lost some power but still able to drive anyway i stopped driving it. The appointment was this morning. When i started the car the light went off and the car seems back to normal. Has the car just corrected itself? Should i still have it looked at if the light is gone off? -
