The 2003 European-delivery example is one of approximately 400 models built and has covered fewer than 15,000km from new. This example has been recommissioned after years of storage. The car had two former owners before it was purchased by the current vendor, a Ferrari enthusiast living in the UK and principal of a Ferrari privateer outfit that specializes in competition preparation and support for modern Ferrari race cars. -
Modern classics set for inaugural Bonhams MPH sale 23 Aug 2019 (News)
An original, low-mileage (38,000-mile) example, it has been owned by the current vendor for more than 20 years and has been recently recommissioned but sat in storage for the most of the past decade. It carries an estimate of £40,000-£50,000. There is also a 2016 Audi RS6 RFSi V8 Quattro Avant (estimate £40,000-£50,000). But while the original plan was to have more modern classics making up the bulk of the sale, there are also bread and butter classics like a 1974 Triumph TR6 (est £12,000-£16,000) and a 1974 MGB GT Coupé (£5000-£7000). -

Low-mileage Sierra Cosworth set to break auction record 18 Oct 2017 (News)
The 224bhp super saloon was discovered in 2007 by car dealer Joe Macari in a classic Ferrari car collection in Germany. He later sold it on to a private Ford collector who put the car in climate controlled storage where it has remained until now. The RS500 is in almost original condition - the only work done to this car was a major service in 2014 when the engine belts, battery and fluids were replaced. -
Rare Healey Silverstone for sale at auction 21 Jun 2017 (News)
Power comes from a 105bhp Riley 2.5-litre ‘big four’. This example was discovered in dry storage in 1998 - where it had been since 1966 - by the current family owners. Five years’ restoration work took the Healey back to its original specification. The odometer reads 10,501 miles and while this can’t be fully substantiated, an MOT certificate from 1986 records the mileage at 5000 and the condition of the car suggests light use. -
Datsun Type 14 goes on show at Beaulieu 4 Jul 2016 (News)

Peter Sellers’ Lotus Elan to star at NEC auction 9 Nov 2015 (News)
. The car is offered for sale having been part of an extensive private classic car collection for over a decade. It is in original condition and has been off the road in dry storage since August 2005. The Elan has covered 65,611 miles from new with the bodywork in good condition, it is said to be ‘on the button’ mechanically. The extensive history file contains the original V5 with Peter Sellers’ signature, as well as MoT Certificates from July 1977 until 2005 and the car will have a new MoT issued before the sale. -
MG Car Club to build archive wing at Kimber House 7 Oct 2015 (News)
The MG Car Club is to add a new archive wing to its Kimber House headquarters. The extension will boast state-of-the-art storage facilities for the club’s priceless collection of production records, photographs and artifacts and is due to open in March 2016. The Wing is named in honour of former MG Car Club chairman and president, Bill Wallis. -

Spy Who Loved Me Lotus goes under the hammer in London 28 Jun 2013 (News)
Subsequent to filming the underwater scenes in the Bahamas, the vehicle was shipped to Long Island, NY, where it was kept in an unassuming storage unit on a ten year rental, paid in advance. Fate later intervened when, in 1989, the then rent delinquent unit was put up ‘blind’ for public auction. ‘Longbridge tunnel’ Mini goes to auction 13 May 2013 (News)

The Passat 2.0SE with alloy wheels, CD player, front seat lumbar adjustment (as per Mondeo LX) and centre armrest with storage compartment will cost £15,970. The 2.0 litre 115bhp Sport will cost £15,625. Other engine options will include a 130bhp TDI PD, 150bhp 1.8T, 170bhp 2.3 V5 and the 204bhp V6 4MOTION. The manual V5 will cost £19,650, and the Tiptronic V6 4MOTION £23,465, which is £2,375 less than the old model.
