  Called into a local Citroen dealer today to get a replacement weather strip for the sunroof on Mrs RR's Saxo as it has started to leak. £48.95 + VAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If Wilkinsons sold them they would turn a profit on £1.99. My local spares shop sold me some Tiger Seal @ £7.95.
• Gearbox filler plug on a Berlingo 13 May 2007 (Forum)
  Anybody know where the gearbox filler plug is on a 2005 1.4l petrol Citroen Berlingo? The drain is obvious but the filler isn't where my Haynes manual claims it should be. It has an MA5 type gearbox apparently which is different to diesel versions.

  Hi, Does anyone know if citroen fit particle filters to their uk spec vehicles, as I've got a xsara HDI 90 (late 2003) and need to know as this determines what sort of oil can be used, the service book states fully synthetic only if a particle filter is fitted!.

  Budget is £1K, needs to be easy to sell on with no hassle (i will be selling), reliability essential. I am thinking Nissan Almera approx 1998 or Citroen Xsara. Any thoughts/suggestions welcome.
• Xsara central locking solenoid 2 Apr 2005 (Forum)
  Anyone know where I can get hold of a central locking solenoid for my Xsara? The plastic rod on mine has snapped off and is lost somewhere in the boot. Citroen want £45 for a new one, and breakers don't seem to have any.

  Is it my imagination, but did diesel used to be cheaper than petrol in summer and slightly more expensive in winter when people bought heating oil? I was looking forward to cheaper fuel in summer. Oh well. On my 3rd Citroen. Saxo, Xsara, C5.
