  Hi I have recently bought a Ford Fiesta from a local garage (a member of the Good Garage Scheme) and it was sold with full service history including radio code but for some reason the garage owner is loath to furnish me with the radio code and service history.  I have managed to find the serial number of the radio which is 4500 RDS EON model which is M002177.

  Hi. the display light on my radio has gone, i can still see the information on the screen, i have taken the radio apart and found a blue led/bulb under the dispaly part. can i get a replacement led/bulb for the radio? everything else works fine, i just cant see what its showing at night.

  I've just fitted a second-hand Alpine 7521RM radio to SWMBO's Saxo as the FM tuner on the original radio failed. Everything works fine until the headlights are turned on at which point the radio shows 'Pause' and no controls will work. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look for or what may be the problem?

  Dunno if anyone has come accross this one, but the radio seems to have grown a mind of its own and changes chanels when I start the car up (ie locla radio last used, but starts up with Classic) I dont touch the radio when i get in! any ideas?

  The car is an old but much loved 205 cabrio fitted with the original Clarion radio/cassette player. New battery fitted and needed to enter the radio code. Entered 1114 instead of 1113 (small buttons big fingers...) and the radio froze. Owners manual says that it is now locked and has to be taken to a Pug dealer.

  I have a Seat Leon 1.6 which I have decided to keep for another year or two. It has a factory fit Radio/Cassette but I would like to play CDs. What is the easiest way to achieve this? Do I need to buy a new unit (perhaps vulnerable to theft) or can I have a CD player put under the seat? Any help welcome.

  I have purchased an omega radio cassette and tried to get work without any joy. I have power and the code but the computer display is not responding. I can see a few numbers, all ones and they move if i use the column arm. I'm assured the radio works.
