  Requirements - has to be as big as possible not more than 30k Diesel I have considered A8 Phaeton 7 Series Any other ideas? I would say S class BUT its far too indian. The phaeton apparently is a very good car, any comments?

  My rover 216si S plate has just started to not give any heat out of the heaters. I thought that it might have been a dodgey thermastat but i have changed that and its still the same. I dont know what it might be any ideas.

  When I was young, in the 1970's, a lot of people used to say "ren-alt". These days, it seems just about everyone says "ren-o". When did the change come about? Does anyone still say "ren-alt"? And if not, when did you last hear someone using the Olde English pronunciation?

  I recently noticed on a friends Golf VR6 62K what sounds like a timing chain rattle from low down on the O/S engine casing. I thought this engine has full duplex chains and auto tensioner design for the like of the engine any ideas. Regards Peter

  1993 Peugeot 306 - When turning right, sharply, (roundabouts usually) there is a noise coming from the nearside wheel area, sounds like the wheel arch. It\'s a kind of tapping/banging noise as I\'m turning. Any ideas what the problem could be?
