  I purchased a Mazda 323 GT from Motorpoint, and have since suffered a broken lense on the offside front foglamp, my local Mazda dealer has quoted me approx £65 the first time I enquired and £205 the second time. Is there anybody out there that can direct me to a Bosch dealer to get a replacement at a resonable price

  Also of note before the oil pump issue was discovered was that there was an engine warning light flagging up a defective cam shaft sensor. From what I can gather online this is not an uncommon fault in Mazda's of a certain age. Unfortunately, the new engine starts ok and runs but only for about 5 seconds then it cuts out. The cam shaft sensor was still showing so my garage ordered a Mazda genuine part and replaced it....... the code is still showing on the diagnostic computer with no other codes.

• Mazda 3 - Awful headlights 28 Sep 2025 (Forum)
  Hi all,  Would appreciate if anybody has met with this issue before, the headlights on this Mazda 3 are unusable due to extremely dull light. Bulbs have been changed, the outside of the headlight has been polished, and have been advised it may be an aged projector lens.... It does look frosted when the lights are on, however they both do and quite uniformly, so my question at the moment is whether they could be actually supposed to be frosted?

  I presume that £2000 off the price of a new car relates to the list price and that other special offers don’t count. £2000 seems to me the sort of new car discount you could get anyway. However, Mazda are offering £4000 of a CX-5 which does seem attractive. The engine has to emit less than 144 whatevers of CO2 to qualify, which, without checking, doesn’t mean much to me.

  Hello everyone.  Thanks to the help from the people of this forum, I was able to pick a Mazda 2 for a reasonable price as my potential 2nd car. On recommendation from friends and family, I had it taken to my local garage for a thorough inspection so I didn't buy anything fishy. The only thing that came up was a rattling noise coming from the engine when it accelerates above 2000 revs - the mechanic couldn't determine the cause without looking into it further, costing me yet more money for a car I may not own.

  Hi, looking for some advice on a problem i have with my 04 Mazda 6 2.0L Petrol 60K on the clock. Over the last few weeks i have noticed a noise coming from the alternator belt area, particuarly when the engine is cold. The best way i can explain it is a rattling sound, similar to a loose exhaust heat shield I have checked for anything loose and all is ok.

  Hello everyone. I purchased my 1999 1.8s Mazda MX5 a couple of months back, and in the last week I have noticed a loud knocking that occurs at 3000rpm upwards. It is in the main upper section of the engine. A local garage inspected the car and told me the little/small ends have gone.
