  Following some good news at the weekend I'm now able to afford around 15K for a secondhand diesel vehicle. I was considering a VAG group PD car but as I have extra funds I can get my ideal car, a BMW 330D. I've seen some for sale at http://www.theinternetcarshowroom.com. Does anyone have any experience of this place? Their prices are about 2K less than a BMW dealer which seems a little too good to be true.

  Alfa Romeo 156 - offset number plate looks like a trade plate. Citroen C2 - design spoiled by silly side window styling. Early 90's BMW 3 series - (when BMW still made good looking cars!)- oddly sculpted sill panel looked like it has been dented by driving over a high kerb! Cheers, Sofa Spud

  I am looking at buying a new car in the next month or 2. After owning a BMW 325 td se for 6 years and then an alfa gtv for 1 (what does that tell you!). I am in the market for a sporty diesel (i do a lot of biz miles and need something more economical than a gtv),smaller than the BMW, but bigger and more reliable than an alfa gtv.

  On Sunday I was following a Ford Maverick, who indicated left, pulled over and stopped, I indicated to overtake, got halfway alongside to notice a red temporary traffic light, a BMW was on my tail, the guy in the Maverick jesticulated. Where were the traffic light signs? Why did the guy in the Maverick indicate left when he stopped for the light? Why did the guy behind in the BMW toot his horn when I stopped because the light was red.

  Kennedy Msimang was not asked to plead on two counts of speeding and two of drunk driving. Msimang was apparently trapped while driving a BMW cabriolet at 168 kilometres an hour in mid-December. A week later, he was again trapped on the same stretch of road, this time apparently speeding at 179 kilometres an hour. The unlucky Msimang was allegedly in another BMW bearing the same vehicle registration plate as the cabriolet.

  All new Mini's are being recalled to BMW's Oxford factory because of a design fault that could cause an explosion when the cars are being filled with fuel. Static electricity could cause a small spark when a petrol pump nozzle is inserted which could in turn ignite fuel vapour in a flash fire.
