  Hi Purchased an Audi a5 a month ago not knowing this problem until I had it myself. Having purchased the car from a non Audi dealer I procedeed to inform them on a regular basis They took the car back on two occasions , not curing the problem .

  can not believe Audi's attitude towrads this problem - a complete re design of the pump and balancer shaft which means you need a new sump too but they are not holding their hands up to take ownership - perhaps they will if enough noise is made !

  I'm due to have my Audi A3 serviced - it is 2 years old. I will use Audi service garage for this but, given it is two years old, they are recommending changing the brake fluid which would add £90 to the price (!). Is it very easy to change the brake fluid - surely it is a matter of topping it up?

  My Audi A6 has put a lot of black smoke since I bought it new. retuned to Audi numerous times to be told nothing shows up on the diagnostics, so had to put up with black smoke and approx. 38 mpg. eventually left it at Audi and said do not return it until it's fixed.They eventally returned it having replaced the egr valve.

  Morning All Out driving yesterday and the tyre pressure loss indicator came on on my Audi A3. Sure enough I found a big bolt or screw sticking in my front tyre. Thank goodness for tyre pressure monitoring! Luckily the tyres were getting ready to be changed anyway so no great loss. I was checking the sizes and noticed that the tyres were marked with AO which stands for Audi only.

  Hi I have an Audi A3, bought as an ex-demo from the dealer, currently 2.5 years old. To the rear bumper, the paint is starting to peel, and there is faint evidence of a previous repair. Dealer has confirmed verbally that when the car arrived new with them, it had damage to this area and that this was repaired by them at that point.

  Interesting discussions with my local dealer and Audi UK yesterday concerning changing of the timing belt and water pump. Dealer said that computer was showing that belt and pump needed changing as mileage was 76,000.  However, my book states to change them at 133,000 miles and no time option.
