  Hi Everybody, I have a 2006 Ford Focus with a Sony Radio. I put the car into the garage over christmas and took an initial hit on a fly wheel and clutch. Then I suffered a killer blow when I drove off and realised my radio didn't work any more.  "You'll have to go to a dealer" said my garage mate.

  Hi All Just a random question, but as I was driving along today I noticed the car radio display change from the CD information to the word "ALARM", which flashed several times (alternating between "ALARM" and the radio present channel). Once I pressed the CD button, it appeared to go back to normal.

  Just followed a new XK whilst driving home from work and was shocked to see it?s radio aerial. Some kind of telescopic job, like on my £5 kitchen radio Rest of the way home I kept a look out, TT, SLK, AF Spider all have neat ?bee sting? type ones on the rump. To be honest, I had noticed this style of aerial before on the DB7 and the old XK, also on the MR2 and thought it odd.

  I bought a cheap dash cam recently (£16) from a service station. It works ok, images not too bad for the price. My post is about radio interference on mw. On CD or FM or Bluetooth its fine but in mw I get so bad crackling and hiss I can't have both on at the same time. I have aftermarket Alpine head unit. Anyone have similar problems or a possible solution?
