Good car with minor points

Had the car for 8 months after managing to get a fantastic online deal. Spec is good and pleasant to drive with no issues. Shame gear change is not short throw / sporty type as the gear changes feel too long for its position. Fuel consumption is ok - never had a car match manufactures claims on the road (BMW best / merc worst). Only niggle is that oil life indicator has just come on after 9.5k when service internal is meant to be 20k!. A bit of research revealed this to be a common fault as it is just a computer programme and if not reset upon delivery new it simply runs from date manufactured. So if sitting for 3 months before sale you lose this period regardless that it's not being used, no smart technology here !. This information was not offered up by local dealership needles to say. No reversing sensors as standard on the top of the range Elite which is very odd, personally l think they should be standard on every car. Generally pleased with the vehicle which makes great use of space. Would recommend.
