Suzuki hits the big time!

Been with Suzuki for over 5 years, last car was a Vitara. Loved the Across from its launch but at over £45K far too expensive but now a year on its far more affordable. An absolute quality product, well put together and bristling with safety gadgets, and virtually every conceivable extra. In fact there isn’t an options list apart from colour choice.
51 miles on a full charge. I’m currently seeing over 70mpg combined with the petrol engine being used. 0-60 in 6 seconds is pretty impressive. Very comfortable, smooth and not a bad looking car.

Two minor gripes…as it’s based on the RAV4 it shares virtually everything including the central ICE, Toyota has a Satnav, Suzuki doesn’t yet there is a button for it! Obviously cheaper to keep the shared fascia but penny pinching I think. Secondly the Suzuki takes about 7 Hours from a domestic plug in yet the Toyota can do it in about 5 hours, again disappointing. However, all in all it’s still a brilliant car and I’m sop.easedi made the swap. One caveat…£480 road tax because of the new cost list price
