Amazing off road and towing capabilities only let down by poor emissions and fuel consumption and a battery problem.

The first thing I need to say is how ridiculous some of the reviews are that I have read, not so much the review but more against the cars they review them against. Why on earth it would be matched up against Seats and Vauxhalls for example is totally beyond my understanding. Anyone who is looking at the Forester or any Subaru for that matter is looking because they need serious off-road capabilities (among other things) and not one car I have seen it compares against does an off-road test! Why not????? Every other car I have seen it compared against can not hold a candle up to this car over a ploughed field or heavy snow, the testers are the same as a lot of buyers-Badge Conscious and do not compare it like for like.

Read customers reviews which are far better and the reason for that is they need its capabilities and not its badge.
