An amazingly competent vehicle which continues to surprise me with its' abilities.

Following a brief test drive around suburban streets I decided to go ahead with my purchase of a new Renault Koleos 2wd petrol manual. The initial attractions were the abundant safety features, quirky looks and very reasonable purchase price. What I hadn't reckoned on were the fabulous cruising ability, compliant suspension and sublime comfort that the Koleos delivers . The vehicle has been an extremely pleasant surprise and it has handled very situation I've presented with aplomb . Whilst some road testers have stated that the vehicle rolls more than normal when cornering I've found this to be absolute nonsense .I live on the Sunshine Coast in Qld Australia and I've been up, down and around the mountains during the past week , sometimes on some very narrow, windy and pot-holed roads. The vehicle is quiet, comfortable and offers very respectable performance from the 2.5 litre petrol motor.
My wife and 80 year old mother-in -law have accompanied me on these trips and they haven't given me one word of complaint in relation to the experience. That , in itself, speaks volumes. about the comfort.
It's certainly no sports-car, nor should it be confused with a serious 4wd off road vehicle , what it is however, is an extremely competent and well constructed all-rounder that deserves consideration by those whose needs match my own..
