Severe engine problems

Sourced a low mileage 3 litre petrol macan which 2 years later got bore scoring and the engine needing replacing. Only 45,000 miles. Porsche central do not look after their customers like other car manufacturers and wanted £31,500 towards the £36k engine replacement cost.
