I use a Peugeot 208 Access Plus as a company car to complete a 45 mile round trip per day mainly used on the motorway. The ideal speed on the motorway to gain maximum mileage from the car is between 65-70mph. The car would benefit from a 6th gear for this. I have averaged 53mpg overall from this vehicle. The car is lightweight but doesn't have much in the way of technology.
