Go anywhere family car

Good honest car but with reliability problems - for most of these see HJ's Whats Bad review for this vehicle which I have contributed to over the years.
The driving experience is overall fair as this is a very heavy, hard core 4 x 4. The ride can get jumpy on rough surfaces and cornering at speed is not for the faint hearted. The seats are comfortable but the space in the cabin is a bit disapponting considering the size of the vehicle.
Fuel consumption is good - about 28 to 30MPG - for a heavy vehicle. Tyres are about £95/105 fitted. Rears will need changing at 15000 miles and fronts about 20000 miles.
Off road or on slippery surfaces this vehicle will go anywhere - you can look forward to the winter months! If it wasn't for the silly reliability problems I would recommend this car to anyone. If you do choose to buy one, I would recommend you look at American Jeep forum websites to find out about problem solving ( The Cherokee is called the Liberty in the States )
