Too many faults - would sell it now if I could afford another car!

This car has so many faults - I suspect we must have had the "Friday afternoon" model!!! The major ones are:

The windscreen rattles alarmingly at 70mph.

The sunroof would be wonderful if we dared to leave the cover open because it too rattles so much at any speed that we're afraid it will crash down on our heads!

The 4 digit postcode Satnav is a bit confusing at first but you do get used to it. However, the Satnav is totally useless as if you have to make a detour from the route you have chosen, then it does not recalculate an alternative route - it simply tells you to "make a U Turn if possible"! This is of no use if the road you're supposed to go down is closed - even if you follow the detour and get to the other end of the road (so you're back on the route you should be) it still tells you to mke a U turn. This is also not helpful if you miss your exit on the motorway!!! Even on the Main Route option, it tends to take you on detours around housing estates and you come out about 100m from where you left the main road. There is an upgrade for £89 which apparently solves all these problems, but you'd be better off spending the £89 on a free-standing Satnav!

And don't bother trying to report all these faults to your Hyundai dealer - they don't want to know. The rattling windscreen and sunroof and unreliable Satnav are not "problems" they are "features"!!! Last time I complained about the windscreen, I was told that the £89 upgrade to the Satnav would fix it!!!!! I may not know much about the mecahnics of a car, but even I know that upgrading the Satnav will not stop the windscreen rattling!!!!!

On top of all this, if anythin goes wrong, there is a 3 month wait for parts to be shipped from Korea. The only parts Hyundai keep in this country are those required fro a scheduled service, So far we have 3 parking sensors malfunction and the steering wheel cover disintegrate. Each one has been on 3 month order and the wrong steering wheel has been sent on 2 occasions! We have now spent 14 months waiting for parts to be shipped from Korea on a boat... Hyundai Uk don't want to know - the reply I had was that "it's what all manufacturers do".

I'm sure it's a good car but I think we must have bought the lemon!!!!
