A Lemon ?

The car is reasonably comfortable to drive. Below 30 mph the car's suspension feels every bump and pot hole.

There are numerous gadgets inside the vehicle, some I will never use. The "A" pillars restrict the view of traffic at junctions.

When stating of quickly from a junction, the power lags for a fraction of a second, which can give the diver quiet a fright, if another car is gabout to travel across your path.

For a diesel Automatic MPG ranges from 35 to 52 miles per gallon, but don't expect to get anywhere near 52 mpg, unless travelling below 60 mph on quiet roads with a following wind.

I have had rear parking senors fitted to an aid when reversing.

The seating position is very low down, and if being tall, it can be difficult to get in and out off. I sc***e my knees on the steering wheel when I get in or out of the vehicle. You do NOT get a commanding view of the road ahead.

Acceleration is fairly quick with plenty of torque. When purchased second hand I could have purchased a similar car but with the 1600 cc petrol engine, which was £500 cheaper.

Three people can get into the rear seats (at a push) with a transmission tunnel hampering where to put the feet.

Problems with the car since ownership, either recall problems or defects with the car.

Battery replaced just after 2 years (out of warranty)
Air Con. not working, (sorted by dealer)
Brake problems front. (My car OK)
New dash board (replaced by dealer)
Stop lamp switch not working (sorted by dealer)
Drivers door would not open (sorted by dealer)
Headlamp replacement- nearside -wiring loom (replace by dealer)
Nearside headlamp cluster-condensation- (replaced by dealer)
Difficulty starting from cold -new glow plugs to be fitted (takes about 2 to 3 weeks to replace by dealer.)
The surface of the alloy wheels, flaking. (replaced by dealership)

There may have been other problems, but that's all I can remember for now.

I purchased the car after seeing several glowing reports about the car, but mine has turned out to be a lemon. The next thing to go will be the exhaust.
My previous car was a Toyota Yaris Automatic, this car wins "Hands down" on reliability.
