Very impressive...

I've had it for a few weeks now and am loving it. The drivetrain is very impressive, smooth and quiet without any annoying CVT gearbox revving away like other manufacturers' cars.
It runs most of the time in EV only mode (below around 50mph) so is very refined around town. A bit of road noise, though, at faster speeds on coa*** tarmac.
The simulated engine revs are surprisingly good fun too. Performance is very sprightly, especially in Sport mode, and it's a blast to chuck around on the twisty stuff!
My last car was a Skoda Superb (excellent) with a lovely soft, cushioned ride. The Civic, rather surprisingly, isn't far off - it's firmer of course, but the body control is better and it doesn't fling you around so much going over potholes.
I'm currently getting about 52mpg with mixed driving, surprisingly good for a fast 2 litre petrol engine. And it's got lots of space.
Very happy (so far).
