Love it. Drives me potty sometimes but love it

Looks stunning. Vain I know but like the 156 before it, I can't resist a look at the reflection in shop windows as I sit at traffic lights. Drives brilliantly on the open road but in town can be harsh and a bit annoying - but this is not it's natural domain.
Out in the open it is quick, precise, comfortable, quiet and pretty economical. Practical too for a coupe with good boot space, and legroom in back is good, although headroom tight for adults.
Has a feelgood factor like no other car I have ever owned.
Support from sites like Alfaowner.com is essential and also fortunate in that I have a good independent specialist in CM Garage keeping maintenance cost down. Just as well as suspension arms seem to be the cars main achilles heel - although this is not helped by the cart tracks that masquerade as roads in the UK these days. That said all cars have their weak points and this one is no different.
Would I recommend it? Definitely, but only on the proviso that you have to be prepared to look after it a bit. Don't ignore anything and it'll serve you well. If you don't know a wheel nut from a peanut then leave alone and go buy a bike . . . .
