2024 Porsche Taycan styling, interior and technology

The new Porsche Taycan has a tweaked appearance that brings in new lights front and rear. The headlights, which have standard HD matrix technology, now feature the Porsche four-point light signature at night that’s also seen on the Porsche 911.

The new Porsche Taycan also has reprofiled front wings, which blend in with the flatter headlights. This gives a more purposeful stance compared to the previous model.

At the rear, the light strip has a 3D glass-look design and carries the Porsche logo. The firm has also brought in a stronger differentiation between regular models and Turbo Taycan variants – these now have a distinctive Turbonite accent colour.

Inside, there are improvements for the instrument cluster and centre display interface. The new Porsche Taycan also has an optional passenger display, which is available with an In-Car Video function – this also extends to the central display with a ‘virtual shutter’ so the driver can’t watch it while on the move.

The new Porsche Taycan has more deeply-integrated Apple CarPlay. This now extends to the instrument display as well as the centre screen. There’s also a new control lever on the left behind the steering wheel, which allows direct control of the driver assistance systems.

Improved standard equipment on the new Porsche Taycan includes heated front seats, wireless smartphone charging, a better heat pump, charging ports on both sides, ambient lighting and electrically folding door mirrors with mirror surround lighting.
