Updated Renault Zoe gets 250-mile range
Renault has updated the Zoe EV, with a new Signature Nav trim level and a larger battery, providing an official maximum range of 250 miles. Orders are open with deliveries from January 2017.
The existing, 150-mile battery will still be available and is fitted to the cheapest £13,995 model. Buyers who want the new, higher capacity battery will need to pay at least £17,845 for a Dynamique Nav model.
As before, buyers will have to pay a monthly battery lease fee. This is based on annual mileage and ranges from £49-£110 depending on the battery and mileage required.
Buyers can forgo the battery lease and pay for their battery outright when buying the car, which increases the cost to £18,995 for the basic iExpression Nav with lower capacity battery, or £23,445 for the iDynamique Nav with the new battery.
Aside from the new battery option, the updated Zoe is available in three new colours, while the front badge has been changed from blue to silver.
The entry-level Expression trim level is unchanged and includes a 7-inch touchscreen, navigation, climate control, cruise control, speed limiter and Bluetooth. Upgrading to Dynamique Nav adds keyless entry and start, auto lights and wipers, reversing sensors and 16-inch alloy wheels.
A new Signature Nav trim level has been added at the top of the range. It includes leather upholstery, heated front seats, Bose audio and a reversing camera.
All private Zoe buyers also get a fast charger fully installed at home.
