PEUGEOT 307SW DIESEL - ESP/ASR - thechippie

We bought a peugeot 307 sw a few months ago and literally the moment we handed over our money the ESP/ASR light came on along with Anti pollution fault. The car loses some speed and drags a little sometimes it just konks out completley!! I paid £200 for it to be fixed only for it to come on again the following day! Can anyone advise me as to the problem here?

You have bought a car that the seller knew had a very expensive fault on it.

Your symptoms are indicative of a clogged up FAP (Diesel Particle Filter) n the exhaust system. It ccould have been caused by a faulty sensor or lack of Eolys fluid.

I notice your username (thechippie), hope you've not been running it on old chip oil as that will also clog the filter. You need to get fault codes read to find the cause.
