Outside the remit of cars, but hopefully an answer can be supplied. We live in East Anglia, regularly visit our children in Sutton, Surrey, in our superb VW Transporter Van, registered in 2001. From Jan 2012 we shall not be able to do this, unless we pay up to £2,000 to have fitted whatever is needed to allow us to enter the LEZ, or pay £100 per day while in the LEZ. We are pensioners, we cannot afford to buy a new van, and will struggle to pay for whatever conversion needs to be done. Are there any solutions to this problem of which we are unaware, please?
