Toyota MR2 - MR2 MK3 - Headlight Condensation - skirmish

I've recently bought a 2002 MR2 and the nearside headlight unit has condensation on the clear plastic. I've read that some people cure this problem in other cars by drilling a small hole to provide some ventilation and a way for the moisture to escape. I wondered if anyone has done this on an MR2 MK3 and if so where is the best place to create the hole.

Hope someone can help on this. Thanks in advance.

I would have thought best way would be to take headlight unit out of car and put in warm place for a while, then you could try and find out where water has got in and seal with a bit of silicone.

how about a oven at say 50 C or a hostess trolley when the missus ain't looking
